What a gem, deliciously authentic food crafted to perfection, the lamb melts in your mouth .Welcoming and friendly staff too. Highly recommend.
Le Comptoir is a fantastic dining spot! Grégoire and his team provide warm, attentive service, and the dishes are flavorful and beautifully presented. A must-visit for a memorable meal!
The food quality, atmosphere, environment and service are all perfect!
An amazing dinner!!! Our waiter…who is also the hostess, expediter, bartender, and dishwasher was kind, funny, and helpful. The food was even better! We did the prixfixe and it did not disappoint. We shared most of it so it was like getting six delicious small plates! I highly recommend!
Exceptional restaurant in the Vieille Ville of Antibes. The restaurant is quite small, so a reservation is recommended. The atmosphere is cosy and the staff are super friendly and cheerful. As a group of four, we managed to try every dish on the menu and loved every single one. We particularly recommend the Black Cabillaud - the fish is coated in a black squid sauce which is very visually appealing. The Figuamaretto dessert was a dream. Next time we are in Antibes, we will definitely come back and try out the new menu.
The food was truly outstanding and crafted with precision. The ratatouille was outstanding, the shrimp melted in the mouth, and the combination of sweet melons and ham was divine! Both the lamb and crispy tuna we had for our main course were exceptional. The service was decent, though the seating was a bit uncomfortable as our table and chairs were on an uneven surface, causing us to lean to one side.
This was my favorite meal our whole week long trip. The lamb shoulder was delicious. The egg was very good. Staff was very friendly and worked with us as English speaking tourists. Highly recommend and would go back again!!!
If you want it romantic, authentic and quiet, this is the right place for you! The terrace locates at the back of the street in a hidden area (an old laundry place of the village in an old time). Therefore, you will not get to see any pedestrians or street performances. I chose this restaurant to celebrate my boyfriend birthday. We had a very romantic evening, great food; full of flavors (but the portion was a bit too small for me) the service was fine but the waiter served us wrong dishes (not a big deal we just had to swap). They also forgot to give us cutlery for the main course. The set menu price was reasonable, we enjoyed tasting a lot. While having a good time, we also spotted some faces on the wall. Now that became interesting when we started to do some faces hunting on the wall (check out my photos!) After dinner, we had a nice walk along the fortification, did sightseeing the yachts in the sea and the night life of an old town Antibes. Recommended!
